Magnesium Sulphate-Epsom Salt (MgSO4.7H2 O)
In the third stage of the project, magnesium sulphate is to be recovered from the bittern left after the extraction of sodium sulphate and sodium chloride, to produce Epsum salt as the end product by disolving- crystallization process and evaporation of the bittern with multiple effect evaporators to remove sod chloride and cooling the Discharge by chillers to produce high purity Eposm salt . Production is now recovered since first of February 2008,Total production the period 2008 - 2010 is 35 thousand tons. Production capacity is 27 Thousand tons per year Chemical properties :
MgSO4+7H2O Min 98% Magnesium Max 9.7% Sulphur Max 12.7% Chloride Max 0.6% The uses of Magnesium Solphate (MgSO4+7H2O)
The Magnesium Sulphate product will be consumes as plant nutrition and as soil conditioner especially in vegetables and fruits forming.
